The Granite Belt offers a wide range of education opportunities. In Stanthorpe itself, is

the Stanthorpe State Primary School, the Stanthorpe State High School and St Joseph's School.

Many of the surrounding small communities also have primary schools.

Dalveen, Thulimbah, The Summit and Cottonvale are to the north.

Broadwater, Amiens, Greenlands and Pozieres to the west and Severnlea, Glen Aplin, Ballandean and Wallangarra to the south.

The College of Wine Tourism and Southern Queensland Institute of TAFE offer further education in various fields.
